A $1.1 billion lawsuit has been settled with ten leading electronics manufacturers. The lawsuit involves an illegal conspiracy to raise prices of LCD flat panel screens used in these  LCD flat screen televisions, laptops and computer monitors. Consumers of these electronic items may be eligible for a portion of the settlement. Payouts of $25, $100, $200 or more may be claimed by answering a a few simple questions about thenumber of electronics purchased from 1999 - 2006. Payout amounts depends on the number of products purchased and the number of claims filed. December 6, 2012 is the deadling to file a claim for these electronics consumers.
