Little Looster Review and GIVEAWAY! {CLOSED}

I have a little one a BIG GIRL at home who is just about ready to do some potty training. We've been fading in and out of interest for her little potty chair (Cinderella-themed incentives can only do so much). And then came the Little Looster - "the Booster for the Loo". The creator, Mommy Monica (mother of three) is probably the smartest woman on the planet for coming up with the idea for the Little Looster. It's a C-shaped step stool that goes around the toilet. It's perfect for kids to climb up on their own (because this is very much a "ME DO MY-SEEEELF" stage). When they're sitting on the loo their feet have a place to rest on the Little Looster. It gives kids security and balance. It doesn't have to be moved. It can stay in place around the toilet. OH - and it doesn't have to be cleaned (wahoo!)! No dumping messes from the potty chair into the "big toilet" and accidentally splashing toilet water all over the bathroom. The Little Looster is designed and manufactured in Oregon, so feel good about buying USA!

The Little Looster reinvigorated my toddler's want to use the potty - especially the BIG GIRL potty like Mommy and Daddy! Being able to climb up herself gives her the independence she wants. Having her feet touch something while she hovers over the big potty hole gives her the security she needs. The Little Looster is a great tool for potty training.

How can you get one for yourself?
Leave me a comment, or two, or fifty. Give me some potty training tips, because I sure could use them right now! (Contest closes JUNE 30, 2010 at Midnight).

*** Use the discount code "MMM7106" for $7.00 off a Little Looster - ending 7/9/10!!!

  4. We need this little looster! my daughter will b e potty training in a few months and this thing is awesome! I've heard using bribes, as awful as it seems, really works. Like a sticker for ever peepee in the potty and when you get 10 you get a prize.

  6. This would be perfect for my little potty trainer who also wants to do everything herself. We are just starting but I am hoping that the bribes & treats work.

My daughter is just at the age where I want to encourage using the potty more and this would be awesome!!! 8. Forgot my potty training tip...for a girl, let the potty trainee (with moms help) help her dolly go potty, wipe and flush. Then it's big girls turn.

  10. I have no tips to help..I am a mom of two boys. One is 20 months old and the other almost three months old. However, I have heard of giving stickers or stamps on the hand when the kid is successful. I helped my mom potty train my little brother (18 yrs apart) and I just took away his diapers and pull ups for two days and gave him regular undies. He didnt like the wet feeling after accident number one....so he learned quick! I hope I can be tough like that for my boys and not give in! love the booster for the loo!

  11. Hello, congratulations for your baby! I am an educator of kindergarten and the time when children can Start pouring to potty train is when they can climb stairs alone (which means the muscles are ready) and playing with the water without getting pee on him. The best time to start is the summer, so ... good start! hello, Moka
    PS: I'm pregnant, so the little potty chair would suit me!

  12. On my fourth girl who is eight months old. I potty trained my other 3 starting the day they turned 2. My very best advice is this: NO matter how hard it gets, once those panties hit there bottoms, you can never, never, never go back to diapers (except maybe at night). If you tough it out for 4 days, you will be surprised at the success. And as for the bribes, start by depriving your kid of ALL sweets except for one skittle or M&M each time they try in the beginning and then make it just for each time they go after they have some success. On day 2 or 3 tape 10 candies on a paper. When they go in the potty, they eat a candy. When they go in their pants, YOU eat the candy and make sure they see. Make sure all the while you stay calm and encouraging (at least around them!). Gauranteed, you will have success by day 4. Good luck! It is ooooohhh so fun! And thanks for the cute layouts!

  13. Glad I stopped by today! Was just checking out some backgrounds available, and happened upon this review. This sounds great. And my petite little guy will really really need a good stool for the potty...when the time comes and that will be pretty SOON! I'm not looking forward to the whole potty training thing- mostly my nerves, I think. Don't have any tips of my own b/c I haven't gone through it yet- but I've heard that you should just give them lots of chips (it makes them thirsty and soften stools) and water and then stick to it for a few good hard days of basically sitting next to the potty. Like I said, otherwise, I have no idea what I'm talking about- but the chip thing stuck with me.
